The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, has initiated the establishment of small enterprises in villages and employment of rural population.

On November 29, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II met with the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The meeting was held in the building of the Patriarchate.

From November 28 starts the Christmas fast (Advent), which, according to the Orthodox calendar, lasts 40 days and will end on January 7 on Christmas Day.
