The restriction, imposed for Georgians in Davit Gareji complex, are canceled

The restriction, imposed for Georgian pilgrims and tourists on the disputable territory of Davit Gareji monastery complex on May 6, are canceled.

Parish and clergymen freely entered the Udabno monastery.

“Nobody has hampered our movement. However, we don’t know how long this freedom will last’, - the priest said.

According to him, a festive public prayer is under way at the monastery now. Prior to that, a march was held with participation of more than 2000 pilgrims and 100 clergymen.
