The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi and the Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II met with a delegation of the Constantinople Patriarchate. Head of the Georgian Church has hosted the guest at the residence of the Patriarch of All Georgia. As noted by the delegation members, the Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I and the Ecumenical Patriarchate support the territorial integrity of Georgia and recognize the Abkhazia as the integral part of Georgia, and the diocese of Tskhum-Abkhazia as the part of the Georgian Patriarchate’s jurisdiction. The delegation arrived in Georgia yesterday. Today, the representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will leave our country.
