The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, the Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II was visited by the famous jazz accordionist Richard Galiano. The meeting was held at the residence of the Patriarch.

Head of the Georgian Church blessed the guests and gave them to listen to hymns written by him: "Ave Maria", "Sanctus," "Kyrie Eleison" and "Come Lord to Me." The French musician also performed several of his compositions. At the end of the meeting the Head of the Georgian Church gifted the guests with small souvenirs and showed them a floral conservatory at the Patriarchate.

Richard Galiano is on a visit to Tbilisi for the fourth time. The first concert of Galiano took place on Georgia in 2006. Jazz accordionist arrived in Tbilisi with his quintet yesterday.

The concert of the group of musicians "La Strada" was held at the Grand Concert Hall of Tbilisi. At the concert was performed the interpretations of film melodies of the famous Italian composer Nino Rota.

Musicians will remain in Georgia until 13 November.
