A meeting with the Patriarch of the Romanian delegation

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, the Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II met with the Romanian governmental delegation. Head of Georgian Church blessed the guests and talked with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania Roberta Alma Anastase about the centuries-old friendly relations between Georgia and Romania.
As it was noted by the Catholicos-Patriarch, the friendly relationship between two churches has an immense importance. His Holiness and Beatitude reminded the life of the Georgian St Antimos Iverieli to whom Romania has become a second homeland. After the meeting, guests were able to listen to the composition "Ave Maria" which is composed by the Catholicos-Patriarch. Head of the Georgian Church also showed the visitors a greenhouse at the Patriarchate.
