His Holiness met with the members of the Yezidis delegation

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, the Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II met in the building of the Georgian Patriarchate the delegation of Yezidis clerics. At the meeting, the conversation touched the historical ties between the Georgians and the Yezidis.

The head of the Yezidis delegation thanked His Holiness for the warm welcome and for normal conditions of co-residence in Georgia, and invited the Catholicos-Patriarch to Iraq.

12 clergymen of the highest rank were the members of the delegation which was led by the world Head of Yezidis, his Holiness, Prince Mir Tahseen Bag. The World Head of Yezidis clergy, Sheikh Akhtiar Margahets also was between the member of the delegation.
