His Holiness and Beatitude, Ilia II visited the newly consecrated Kiketi church of Ekvtime God’s Man and spent the chapel.

"Georgians have always defended the churches and monasteries from foreign invaders, as the Christian faith is our salvation," - said the Patriarch in his sermon.

The new temple in Kiketi has two altars that are sanctified in the name of the Holy Martyr Patriarch Kirion and Ekvtime Confessor (Kereselidze). The consecration of the church and the liturgy was conducted by Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri).

According to the Patriarch, happy that man who participates in the construction of the temple. He blessed the businessman Levan Vasadze, which financed the construction of the temple and gifted him with the icon of St. Nicholas. The Patriarch also donated to the temple the Holy Trinity icon.

The consecration ceremony of the Kiketi temple of the Ekvtime God’s Man was attended by many pilgrims.
