Agreement on cooperation

02/10/2011

On September 28, the Georgian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Health Care signed an agreement on cooperation. The agreement was signed by the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia ll and the Minister of Healthcare Andria Urushadze.

According to agreement, the Church and the Ministry are ready to cooperate in: assistance to socially vulnerable children, establishment of state standards for children care, promoting the state programs, informing the society about the role of medical insurance, propaganda of a healthy lifestyle, organization of joint events with participation of the Georgian Patriarchate and the Ministry of Healthcare.
