'After the unification of Georgia we will travel together to Abkhazia', - Ilia II

“The head of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus will pay another visit after the unification of Georgia and we will travel together to Abkhazia”, - stated the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia ll after the meeting with Chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze.

According to Ilia ll, he will also arrive in Cyprus after its unification.

“Both nations should believe that this will happen very soon”, - Ilia ll said.

The head of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostomos II, also made a comment after the meeting with David Bakradze.

“I feel myself at home in Georgia. Georgia and Cyprus have the common pain”, - Archbishop of Cyprus said.

Chrysostomos II asked David Bakradze to protect interests of both Georgia and Cyprus at the international area as both countries aspire to unification.

According to his statement, both countries should do everything for unification.
