David Bakradze has met the head of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia David Bakradze has met the head of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus, Archbishop Chrysostomos II.
After the meeting, David Bakradze made a comment for journalists. According to him, both countries have much in common, including history, culture and belief. “Unfortunately, Georgia and Cyprus have similar problems regarding occupied territories too. By God’s blessing and politicians’ efforts the truth will prevail, and Cyprus and Georgia will get back their lost territories”, - Davit Bakradze said.
The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia ll also attended the meeting in the Parliament.
Archbishop Chrysostomos arrived in Georgia on 22th of September.
