Georgian Academy of Sciences celebrates the 70th anniversary

Niko Muskhelishvili was exactly such person," - said the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, the Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude, Ilia II in his speech at the conference of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.

Georgian Academy of Sciences celebrates the 120th anniversary of N. Muskhelishvili and the 70th anniversary of its foundation. Nikoloz Muskhelishvili was the founder and the first president of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. He is the author of a lot of fundamental works in higher mathematics. An outstanding scientist during 31 years was directing the Academy of Sciences.
