Feast of the Transfiguration

Georgian Orthodox Church today celebrates feast of the Transfiguration. In connection with the celebration, the liturgy and prayers were held in all existing churches. In the Holy Trinity Cathedral festive liturgy was held by the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.
