Recently, by the Internet and through the press was spread the offensive and incorrect information about the members of the Holy Synod.

Georgian Patriarchate is of an opinion, that in some cases this is done deliberately and sometimes takes place unintentional actions, which ultimately will serve to increasing of confusion in society and distrust among parishioners.

We appeal to our society not to condone such actions, because they serve as a distraction from other issues, the introduction of confusion and anxiety in church’s life and are an attempt to weaken the church, which we should not tolerate.
