The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II has left with a visit to Kiev.

In Kiev Catholicos-Patriarch will participate in the celebrations devoted to the baptism of Kievan Rus. During the visit, His Holiness will meet with Ukrainian President and the Speaker of Parliament. On July 26 is scheduled the meeting of the Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II and the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

Visit of His Holiness will end on July 30.
