On behalf of the Georgian Orthodox Church and on my personal behalf I express my deep regret in connection with the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris. We condemn the incident and express our condolences to the families of the victims and the French people.

This is a tragedy for the entire country. Everyone should reflect on what happened, because over the past few years, the number of terrorist acts, which are manifested in various forms, has increased in the world.

We believe that the leading democratic countries and international organizations should do all possible to carry out preventive measures for greater protection of the public.

We ask the Lord of peace and understanding between people.
