Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle

The event is organized by the International Charitable Foundation of The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.

Three age groups will participate in marathon on different distances:

I – Persons born in 1997-1999 years will participate in marathon on 3 km distance.

II – Persons born in 1994-1996 years – on 2 km distance.

III – From 17 years to 40 years old persons – on 5 km distance.

Each participant will receive a certificate of participation from the International Charitable Foundation of The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia. The first 10 places will be gifted with different prizes, while I, II and III place-holders will also receive the prizes in cash. Awarding ceremony will be held at 13:00 at Holy Virgin Cathedral in Gori.

The goal of this event is to promote a healthy lifestyle and mainly, the fight against the drug abuse, which is one of the main priorities of the Charitable Foundation since 2005 year. Also, one of the goals of this event is the revealing of the promising newcomer in marathon sport.

A similar event will take a place in Batumi City on June 2, at 11:00 a.m.
