Ilia II will visit Istanbul

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, together with the members of the delegation, including several bishops, went on a visit to Istanbul.

As it is known, in Istanbul Ilia II will meet with the Ecumenical Patriarch, His Holiness Bartholomew. Duration of the visit, details and themes of the meeting are unknown.

It should be noted that on Saturday and Sunday Ecumenical Patriarch and the Patriarch of Georgia will hold a general prayer.
