Georgian Patriarchate extends the statement of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

"We tensely follow the processes which are taking place in recent in Kiev. Of course, we are extremely concerned because of the created difficult situation, so we give the congregation our blessing to pray for peace in Ukraine.

We, on our part, will also pray and ask the Lord to look at our fraternal Ukrainian people that they could peacefully pass this difficult period.

"The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace".
