Presentation of the Album “Manaba”

On November 25, at 18:00 pm, in the Hall of the National Library of the Parliament of Georgia, was held the presentation of the art album "Manaba" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People's Artists of Georgia and Dagestan, Honored Artists of Russia - Manaba Magomedova.

By origin from Dagestan, Manaba Magomedova spent her entire life in Tbilisi and made a significant contribution to the development of the Georgian and Caucasian decorative arts. She was the only woman who was familiar with all methods of metal processing (silver, gold).

The album was released with the support of the International Foundation of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Tbilisi Mayor's Office and the Ministry of Culture of Dagestan.
