Patriarch Awarded the Highest Order of Justice

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II awarded the highest Order of Justice by the NGO "World Association of Lawyers”.
The award ceremony took place in the Georgian Patriarchate. At the ceremony attended the vice president of the association Paata Tsnobiladze, second vice president Khorl Keane, president of the association in America Ben Griffith, former president of the association Valery Evdokimov, clerics, First Deputy Minister of Diaspora Affairs Zaal Sarajishvili and lawyers.
It was noted, that Ilia II was awarded for his contribution to the establishment of peace and justice.
For its part, the Patriarch noted that "justice must be central to the person as to achieve peace in the society should celebrate the rule of law and justice."
Order of justice is an annual award for politicians and clergy. Pope John Paul II and the Queen of Great Britain also were awarded by the Order of Justice.
As it was noted at the meeting by the first vice-president of the association Paata Tsnobiladze, tomorrow, the former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will be awarded the same order.
