“Today we are facing the changes”, - the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia ll said in his sermon in the Svetitskhiveli Cathedral.

According to him, in a week, there will be the new President’s inauguration and the new government of Georgia will start working.

“We should ask God to give them wisdom and kind heart. If they have belief, love and hope, everything will be all right”, - the Patriarch said.

The Patriarch also noted the importance of modesty. According to him, when a person receives a high rank, he ought to be more modest. "If there is no modesty, high rank destroys man" - Ilia II said.
