"Today is a happy day for all Georgia, as we celebrate the national holiday – the Independence Day of the State", - said the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in the course of today's traditional Sunday sermon.

As stated the Patriarch of all Georgia, our country is moving hard to progress, but its ongoing development is inevitable.

"I would like to congratulate all Georgia, government, president, prime minister and all citizens on this great national holiday," - said Ilia II.

Today, Georgia celebrates the Independence Day of the State.
