The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia the Second preached about the importance of Georgian language today. As Patriarch said, Georgian language is the greatest gift of God to the Georgian nation and Georgia.

“Our Georgian language is immense richness, that we celebrate today, also our religion – Orthodox Christianity. Even the nature and the air is the greatest gift from God. Georgian language is big secret. Ioane-Zosime (Christian monk and writer) who wrote “Praise and Exaltation of the Georgian Language”, would not dare to say that Georgian will be the language used on the Judgment Day if he didn’t have foundation for this”, - Ilia the Second said.
