On April 12, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II returned to his homeland from Finland where he underwent the rehabilitation course.

"I was once again convinced that there is not and there never will be such a country and such a people as Georgia and Georgians", - said the Patriarch in the Holy Trinity Cathedral. His Holiness blessed the public and addressed them with a short sermon. He extended his gratitude to the Lord and the congregation for their prayers and happy homecoming. He also informed the congregation about his meeting with the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Finland and the Georgians living in Finland.

"With your prayers and with the blessing of the Lord I returned to homeland peacefully. I want to note that it is very difficult for me to leave homeland for such a long time, I really missed you. During my stay in Germany, I was approached by a girl and she said that she loved me as much as she loves Georgia. Once again, I was convinced that there is not and there never will be such a country and such a people as Georgia and Georgians. Thank you for your prayers, "- said Patriarch in his sermon.
