The Exhibition of Works by Nelly Beraia – ‘Painting with Beads’

On March 8, 2013 will be held a charity exhibition of self-taught artist Nelly Beraia - "Painting with Beads", which is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of enthronement and the 80th jubilee of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

Mrs. Nelly is 82 years old and despite the heavy life-way she still leads active and creative life. She is a professional journalist and she began to paint only after she became 65 years old. Since that time, were held her 10 personal exhibitions. Her style - painting with beads, has no analogues in the world.

The exhibition organizers are the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, the International Charitable Foundation of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia on Restoration and Development of Spirituality, Culture and Science and the Museum of Contemporary Arts of Zurab Tsereteli.
