His Holiness and beatitude Catholicos –Patriarch of all Georgian presented the highest award to Sukhumi State University

His Holiness and beatitude Catholicos –Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II decorated Sokhumi State University with St. George’s golden order.

The Sokhumi State University is the first which has been presented such award. There by, while preaching in the Cathedral of Sameba the Catholicos Patriarch hoped that Abkhazians and Georgians will live together again.

- Only being together with Georgian will help Abkhazian culture and language to survive-Stated the Patriarch.

Therefore 10000 USA Dollars were entered in the account of Sokhumi University fund.
