Patriarch to Visit Moscow Today

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia the Second will visit Moscow today.

On January 21, the annual, 13th awarding ceremony of the International Public Union Foundation will be held in Moscow, led by the Patriarch of Russia Kirill.

The Patriarch of Georgia will be awarded with the prize for the outstanding efforts to strengthen the unity of Orthodox people, establishing and promotion of Christian values in the society.

Ilia the Second spoke about the visit yesterday at St. Trinity temple and declared that significant issues would be discussed.

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia will return to Georgia on January 26.
