Georgian Precious Treasure Visited by Guests from Different Orthodox Churches

Holy relics of early Christianity have been kept at the National Museum of Georgia for last decades. Today, the Museum has been visited by guests from different Orthodox churches.
Each relic has its own history. The Museum staff explained the guests importance of every single exposition being collected for many years. Georgian engraved and written icons, cloisonné enamel, jewelry masterpieces were being created for many years and have been kept for many centuries by our ancestors.
There are over 700 thousand items kept at the Museum which was founded by Dimitri Shevardnadze in 1933. The guests saw most precious treasures of the Museum.
