Orthodox Nations Parliamentary Assembly Delegation Visits Patriarchate of Georgia

The Orthodox Nations Parliamentary Assembly Delegation visits the Patriarchate of Georgia.

The guests are welcomed by Metropolitan Daniel of Sachkhere and Chiatura Diocese, also Bishop Iakob of Gardabani and Martkofi Diocese, and Archpriest David Sharashenidze.

Representatives of Greece, Belorussia, and Palestine are visiting Georgia. It is intended to visit the Parliament of Georgia in frames of the visiting programme.

According to Anastasias Nerandzisi, the Secretary General of the Assembly, visiting the legislative body intends to form a special group at the Parliament of Georgia. The group will work on relations with the Assembly. The guests brought a copy of bowl from Athens Benakis Museum to the Patriarchate of Georgia to be gifted to His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi, Metropolitan of Pitsunda and Sukhumi-Abkhazia. The guests expressed their wish to see His Holiness and Beatitude being on visit to Great Britain.
