Released prisoners to meet the Patriarch

A part of the today released prisoners attended a sermon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Sozar Subari, the Minister of the Legal Assistance and Corrections, was also at the Cathedral. According to him, after the festive events dedicated to the Patriarch’s jubilee, a meeting will be held between the Patriarch and the released political prisoners.

“A very important process has ended today. None of the Georgian governments has recognized existence of political prisoners in the country. Today they have been released”, - Sozar Subari said.
