The Largest Delegation to Arrive on Patriarch’s Anniversary

The largest delegation will arrive in Tbilisi on the anniversary of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia the Second headed with the World Patriarch.

Representatives of almost all Orthodox Churches will arrive on the anniversary of the Patriarch of Georgia, including the World Patriarch Bartlomeos II, Serb Patriarch Irineos, head of the Czech and Slovakia churches Metropolitan Kristefore and also the acting Patriarch of Bulgaria, Metropolitan Kiril.

The delegations of other churches also arrive led by high priests. A Russian delegation is among them, headed by the Chairman of the foreign relations department of Russian Patriarchate Metropolitan Ilarion.
The Patriarchate of Georgia will host the first honorary guest tomorrow. On January 9 the Serb Patriarch Irineos arrives. Delegations of other Orthodox Churches will visit Georgia on January 10.
