Activities for the Christmas

The Christmas festive liturgy will be served by the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

On January 6, the festive liturgy will begin at 21:00. At 23:00 starts the reading of the Christmas appeal. The liturgy will begin at 0:00.

The Christmas Procession - "Alilo"will start on January 7 at 14:00. Various parishes will start the Christmas Procession from the Square of Roses and adjacent area to the "Isani" subway station. Participants of the procession will head to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity where the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II will serve a Christmas Chapel. Sweets and gifts collected during the Christmas Procession – “Alilo” will be given to orphanages and nursing homes.
