On December 20 will be held a meeting of the Holy Synod

On December 20, in the building of the Georgian Patriarchate, will be held a meeting of the Holy Synod.

The meeting of the Holy Synod will begin at 12:00 hours. The meeting will be headed by the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.

Presumably the details of the decisions of the Holy Synod will be known by the end of the day.

The Holy Synod of the Georgian Orthodox Church meets twice a year and discusses the important ecclesiastical questions. This year, the first meeting of the Holy Synod was held on July 5.
