Patriarch visited the prisoners

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II and Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia Sozar Subari visited the prisoners in prison #1.

"I hope that the Government, the President and other authorized persons will show the mercy and free the prisoners. With God's help and our prayers of many of the prisoners will leave the prisons", - said His Holiness.

According to minister Subari, the Patriarch of All Georgia, personally talked to all prisoners and blessed them. The patriarch also visited the hunger striking prisoners in prison № 1. After the visit of His Holiness they stopped the hunger strike.
