The videotapes of torture in prisons spread yesterday and today through the media shocked the whole Georgia. This is a gross violation of the norms of Christian morality as well as international human rights standards, and these actions cannot be of any justification. Because of current situation, with the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, is delayed the blessing ceremony of a new cathedral in the city of Poti and all planned in the nearest future church celebrations.
