This year the IV International Festival "Night Serenades" will be held from 25th to 28th August under the open sky in the historical fortress "Gonio" in Adjara, West Georgia. The founder of the festival, along with the Municipality of Batumi, is permanent artistic director of the festival, outstanding musician Liana Isakadze. In the festival for the second time will take part the International Ensemble-Orchestra "Virtuosos of Facebook", famous conductor Emanuel Lidiyuk-Barom (France), Andrei Gavrilov (Switzerland), Ivan Moniget (Switzerland), Yuri Zhislin (UK), Alissa Margulis (Germany), David Barnett (USA) and others.

Staffed by well-known virtuoso orchestra will present four concerts for the listener. It should be noted that these musicians will also be brought before the public as soloists. At one of the evening, as well as in last year, Liana Isakadze presents to the listener her project "Musicians Are Joking".

The IV Festival is dedicated to 35-th anniversary of the enthronement of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

The International Festival "Night Serenades" was founded in the 80's of last century by Liana Isakadze. In 1982 she established the festival in a beautiful corner of Georgia - Abkhazia. Every summer, the festival took place in Bichvinta and had enormous popularity.

The annual festival was held at the basis of the State Chamber Orchestra of Georgia. The festival was attended by famous musicians from the Soviet Union, as well as from abroad. Among them were - Alfred Schnittke, Kurt Masur, Gideon Kramer and others.

Unfortunately in 1991, the festival has ceased to exist, and only after 18 years, in 2009, with the support of the Municipality of Batumi and personal care of Vice-Mayor of Batumi Ms. Natia Surguladze it was possible to revive the festival in the most beautiful Black Sea city of Batumi. The festival, which is called again - "Night Serenades" continues the tradition of Bichvinta festival and is held under the open sky on the territory of the historic fortress “Gonio” (V BC).

The idea of ​​the festival’s logotype belongs to Liana Isakadze.

It should be noted that last year at the III International Festival was held the presentation of a new idea of Liana Isakadze - with the help of social network «Facebook» she joined his fellow musicians and created an international ensemble-orchestra "Virtuosos of Facebook", which became the base collective of the Festival "Night Serenades".

In 2011, in parallel to the festival, in the Ilia Chavchavadze Theater of Batumi was held another festival established by Liana Isakadze - "Friends of Facebook", the general manager of which is living in Germany Georgian musician and lecturer George Isakadze. In 2012 the musicians will gather again in Batumi City to take part in the International Festival "Friends of Facebook". The purpose of the festival is to promote a merger of musicians from around the world.
