Restoration efforts continue in Bagrati temple

Restoration efforts continue in Bagrati temple.

Today, was blessed a cross for the temple. After blessing it will be erected on the dome of the temple. The cross will be visible from all central parts of the city of Kutaisi.

The restoration efforts are entering the final stage. The blessing ceremony of the cross was attended by the Minister of Culture Nikoloz Rurua, Director of the National Agency of Cultural Heritage Protection Nikoloz Vacheishvili and representatives of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
