Ilia the Second returned to Georgia

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II returned to Georgia. The plane of the Patriarch landed in Tbilisi International Airport at 6:45 p.m.

At the airport His Holiness was greeted by the congregation and spirituals.

As Patriarch said, he saw a lot of Georgians in France. “Nothing compares to Georgia. Georgian land and people are remarkable. God bless you”, - Patriarch addressed the people.

From the airport Ilia II went to the St. Trinity Cathedral.

The Patriarch arrived from Sweden, where he underwent medical examinations. His Holiness was in France before, where on May 18 he attended the charitable concert organized by the “Iavnana” foundation at the Paris concert hall. The Patriarch’s musical compositions were performed on the concert.
